A Little About Us

TECHNOTIX – The Robotics team of Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering (MPSTME) Mumbai is a student team which participates in the ABU ROBOCON, WORLD ROBOT OLYMPIAD, WORLD ROBOTICS CHAMPIONSHIP and organizes one annual technical event-ROBO'LYMPICS.

The team was launched in the academic session 2017-2018 under the guidance of Dr. N. T. Rao (The Dean), Dr. Vaishali Kulkarni (Professor and Associate Dean), Prof. Dattatray Sawant and Prof. Amey Raut (Assistant Professors) with the aim of enhancing the technical knowledge and inspiring the students towards automation. The team has been participating in ABU ROBOCON and securing a position in the top 50. The team also participates in the WORLD ROBOT OLYMPIAD. The team organizes ROBO’LYMPICS which consists of events and activities such as workshops, competitions, many technology-based events and many more with the aim of conducting activities and events that promote a culture to understand robotics, equip students with requisite robotics expertise and help them make an effective contribution to the growth of technology.

Prof. Dattatray Sawant, Assistant Professor Mechatronics, MPSTME has been looking after the reigns of TECHNOTIX  for over 2 years and under his guidance, it has flourished a lot. Prof. Amey Raut has also been associated right from the inception phase and guided on the technical background. Their guidance has led to the creation of a great platform for students to learn and perform.
